Overview

Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is now seeking an enthusiastic Trainer to join our team. Trainers are a dynamic group of individuals who excel at multi-tasking while delivering the highest level of support and training to both internal and external stakeholders.

Trainers will be compensated according to the scale for their current position, and temporary assignments outside of regular responsibilities will not affect compensation. Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  1. Training Delivery & Platform
  • Train new and existing users on key operations platforms, including:
    • Comsense CPQ DFH estimating and detailing
    • SAP S4/Hana ERP
    • Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Teach best practices to ensure consistency across all locations
  • Provide system and process support utilizing the Zendesk ticketing system
  • Identify the appropriate training delivery methodology based on content, audience, and business needs
  • Delivery training across multiple departments, including Sales, Estimators, Detailers, Engineers, Project Managers, and Warehouse teams.
  • Use prepared training materials to deliver structured and consistent curriculum
  • Conduct follow-up training sessions as required

 

  1. Project & Technology Support     
  • Serve on project teams for technology rollouts and upgrades, including evaluating, testing, and supporting communication and adoption.
  • Provide end-user support services as appropriate.
  • Assist with additional special projects as assigned.

 

  1. Miscellaneous 
  • Support our values in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of DFH (doors, frames, hardware) industry experience.
  • Experience with DFH estimating software (Comsense preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Word and PowerPoint, for training content development.
  • Strong understanding of training methodology and instructional best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience and empathy when training users in new systems and processes.
  • Professional demeanor with a positive and supportive attitude.
  • Ability to create and deliver effective training materials tailored to the learner’s level.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel and work non-standard hours to support training and key project deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation

The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

  • Base: $80,000-$115,000/per year
  • Bonus: 15% Target Bonus
  • Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Range

Min: USD $80,000.00/Yr., Max: USD $115,000.00/Yr.
