Position Overview

At Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG), Data Entry Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of data entry functions to prepare various documents including hardware schedules and change order reports.  Performs miscellaneous support duties as required.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
Assumes responsibility for maintaining current and accurate data entry and related paperwork.
  • Enter hardware schedules in a timely manner.
  • Enter revisions of hardware schedules after architect’s approval.
  • Reviews report data to ensure accuracy.
  • Types correspondence.
  • Enter Hollow Metal Tags using a custom design program.
  • Generates AS400 shipping tickets.
 
Assumes responsibility for assisting in the development and maintenance of the reports program.
  • Keeps data within the reports program current.
  • Supplies related departments with results of data input.
 
Assumes responsibility for maintaining effective communication and coordination with area personnel, management, and customers.
  • Maintains regular contact with other departments to obtain information and/or to correct data.
  • Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
  • Assists area personnel as needed.
 
Assumes other related duties as required or assigned.
  • Ensures that the work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.
  • Assist with switchboard coverage when necessary.
 
 
Qualifications
  • Good math and English skills.
  • Working knowledge of PC software (Excel and Word)
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Proficient typing ability.
  • Able to use standard office machines.

Compensation

The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position. Within the range, individual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, and work location within state.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

  • Base: $26.00 - $32.00per hour
  • Total Compensation (Base + Bonus): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $54,080 - $66,560
  • Equity: This role is not eligible for equity opportunities, awards or grants.
